If You Don't Get The keyword density Right, Now a days we are all looking for faster, easier ways of doing things and you can see evidence of this, just glancing through the majority of article topics, for example, How to save time, do this, how to get where you are going to faster. etc, even. here on Wikinut.com.

Two % Is Too Low, Four % is Way Too Much!

I have been online since 2008 and have read a mountain of books, some worth their weight in gold while the bulk of material was hardly worth the effort it took to type them. In my search through the good stuff, I have come up with a kind of, rule of thumb, which I've discovered, applies to virtually all types of web content generally created by the SEO savvy, writing fraternity, who apply keyword rich content. Keywords are words to describe your niche or topic for searchers to find on search engine searches, and by implication, could be a whole bunch of words like a short sentence, for example: The (Ace-Utility hobby -Knife), called a longtail keyword, an broken components searchers are likely to use, Hobby, knife, utility etc. Figures below 2% of keywords interspersed inside your content causes the density to be just too low, while 4% on the other hand, is too much.

Do Slam The Spam!

You must be wondering why this is so? For Search engines to be able to find your content, you want your "keywords" to be found, which they will be if search engines can pick them up). But you definitely don't want to be flagged for "spam" content which will happen if you are over stuffing content with keywords either. The keywords used by articles and blogs usually start above 2% but not quite four percent, the keyword sweet spot for me, is 3%.

I agree that every writer should make themselves SEO savvy, which is why the best keywords are found in the body of thee article itself. This is also one reason why poems have poor SEO because most poets hav more keywords than words and most poetry keywords are general (e.g. giving the subject matter) and not specific based on the text.

well maybe Peter what you say is correct for some poets...but mine are information using a poetic format...a little different also I find it easier to write in this format instead of stringing hundreds of words in abject misery...

Carolina, my dear friend who shows up often on my Internet sojourn, like a frosty ale to a sun-parched throat, surely there is no need for you to assert your esteemed worth as a favorite poetess, well, you are that, to me anyhow. X

Carolina, you are correct hat you have taken a different approach, but you note that I said "most poets", and in the article I wrote about your work I clearly said you were outside of normal mould and you take care with all the points.

Madan, old friend, It is so sad, that I could not spend all of my time here on Wikinut amongst my dear writer friends. Soon, I will have written myself into a form of residual credit elsewhere, allowing me to pursue my one singular indulgence, writing for joy.

Interesting and useful post, TP. Keyword density is tough to count for me, though good to be aware of them - siva

Interesting and useful post. I loved your image. Pity that our photos cannot become a trekking code in itself. Oh but it can. Silly me. Its the name we give the image that might do it not so?

1st November 2016 (#) Hi , Thank you for being on my readers list. I have been searching for about 2 years for a write for cash site which works as easily as wikinut and pays like Bubblews did in their heyday! One of our wikinutters, passed this information on to me of a brand new cash writing site which is similar to Bubblews and it pays its writers for original work. I joined and find their pay system very rewarding.
If you could use a few extra dollars like I do, and would like more details please join here:

or here:

Kindest regards,

Andre' (Tranquilpen)
PS: Many wikinut and Bubblews writing community are already there!
