THAT FINE MORNING
Morning little new than yesterday, sun little less brighter than day before,
Breeze cooler than ever before, clouds posing to drizzle, birds chirruping noisily, kids ready with their by-cycles to burn the roads, in the hustle and bustle of surrounding, I could find the only one peaceful soul and that was me, I relaxed my shoulders on the wall stretched my hands to make the newspaper's view more clear. All was fine till my eyes found that fine article, reading that I learned plant can hear us and pampering it makes them look greener and brighter that reminded me of my first and only planted shrub. The very next moment I went to the backyard and was unpleasantly surprised to see its dried leaves, the color green was conquered by dull brown; the ever green charm was lost. I could recall this very shrub four years back greener and charmer. I rested near those dried leaves recalling the article, touched them firmly and my touch wasn't gentle enough to save them from crumbling down. I pulled my hand and thought it was better to talk. I pleasantly addressed it with a warm hello, meanwhile it started drizzling but wasn't enough to distract me out of such important conversation I further continued with few obvious questions; how are you? Hope you are happy, although it doesn't showed any sign of joy, I know it's being long I cared for you, hope you didn't mind... hehehe suddenly a giggling sound approached my ears, for sure it wasn't a reply from my dear shrubs. I turned back and was more than embarrassed to see my neighbor giggling at my gesture to dear shrubs. That very moment my peaceful soul had lost every bit of peace. I wished I was an ostrich and could burry my head right into the soil. That day I learned rather by-hearted one thing very clear, your plants may or may not love to hear from you but your neighbors certainly do, by the time I managed to shadow the embarrassment on my face, my dear neighbor, she burst out in laughter, I exercised the only option of escaping from the place as soon as possible. Overcoming my embarrassment today also I try to console myself, what if I couldn't make those shrubs happier at least I made somebody laugh that fine morning.

There are eyes and ears everywhere - sometimes too close for comfort! I do believe we are all interconnected and should love everything; it is free and pays more than hatred! siva
