most of my writing is reflective of my journey as an adopted person. much of my writing is raw, dark and sometimes depressing.

non sum

you were the brightest light
on my darkest of nights.
your voice, the sweetest sound;
your allure quite profound.

my favorite lover you quickly became;
for you i would do anything - i had no shame.
i wanted you close, needed you near;
i longed for that pinch from your sharp, piercing spear.

as my blood rushed, you danced in my mind;
you sent me spinning, no words can define.
slowly, as your dance begins to end;
my thoughts about life start to transcend.

when it's all said and done,
you leave me, feeling cumbersome.
my body aches, and my mind reels;
frantically seeking the next perfect deal.

as daylight fades, giving way to night,
i'm left alone to fight this miserable fight.
existing, full of remorse;
oh how i despise you, you evil horse!
