sincere, like the singing of the birds

sincere, like the singing of the birds
I only see darkness in your words.
sincere, like the singing of the birds
I wish you were honest with me today

sincere, like the singing of the birds

silent cold
glass and silk.

I would like your words,
were white like milk

gloomy and sinister
mysterious and painful.

Your words have shadows
seem an untimely rainfall

total isolation,
a lie, it must be a lie untold.

dark, you're not sincere
I only see darkness in your words.

sincere, like the singing of the birds
I wish you were honest with me today

your silence distress me,
your lies hurt me...

look me in the eyes, look within
no more lies, no more tricks, no more falsity unsaid
now tell me the truth, tell me the truth, tell the truth today!

this poem ressonates with me, whenever someone is not being honest, i feel that way and wish they would just say the truth.
