thoughts on life, inner monologue, and a poem with an accompanying explanation of my thought pocesses in wriing

what do you want?

I tell myself I want to be famous,
But then I think that I don’t.
I say I wanna see the world,
But I probably won’t.
I might like a family one day,
A wife and some kids.
Equally the lonely life,
Dress it up as ‘Bachelor Digs.’

See, I like writing, and thinking.
And lounging around.
Suffocate in silence,
Or drink ‘til you’re drowned.
I’m happy to live quietly,
My own little place on this earth.
Since I’ve written that last line,
I can think of no other rhyme but ‘Girth.’

I was feeling reflective, and was in the middle of watching a film. So, I got to thinking about what I want from life, trying to think about the things that I think I want to do with my life.

Do I want to travel the world? Or have I just convinced myself that it is something I SHOULD want to do. I found it very hard to decide if I actually cared all that much one way or the other.

Do I want to have a family etc, or again, do I just feel as though I should want that?

I'm not too fussed really what I do in life, things will happen as they will. I'll leave them to come and just make sure I'm happy day-to-day.
Then I got writing the following poem, and then I got distracted near the end, Like I do so often.

Family, Kids, Life, Life Experience, Life Experiences, Life Journey, Life Poetry, Single, Wife
